BNDES Will Borrow R$5.9 Billion to Double BR-163

The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) approved a loan of R$ 5.05 billion for the Western concessionaire New Route to double 444 kilometres from BR-163, in Mato Grosso. The work is carried out in partnership with the government of the state. In total, BNDES signed R$ 4,575 billion in debt — debt title that generates a credit right to the investor — and approved funding at R$ 475 million, through BNDES Final.
