- Blood Orange explores his childhood in Essex and themes of grief and loss, described by a press release as a 'soundtrack created from a dreamscape of his journey working through grief.'
- The first previews come in two tracks, 'Somewhere In Between' and 'Mind Loaded,' with 'Mind Loaded' featuring Caroline Polachek, Lorde and Mustafa, and Zadie Smith singing for the first time.
- Earlier this month, Hynes announced a European autumn tour including three intimate in-the-round shows at London’s Alexandra Palace Theatre on November 8, 9 and 10, following his runs with Turnstile and Lorde.
- The North American tour begins on September 21 at San Francisco’s Portola Music Festival, followed by shows at KEMBA LIVE! in Columbus on September 23 and at Boston’s TD Garden on September 26.
