Due to construction work on the S-Bahn line between Frankfurt-Mühlberg and Offenbach-Ost, passengers must prepare for route closures during the summer and autumn holidays in order to be able to work at the stations, as the Deutsche Bahn announced. From Offenbach-Ost and Offenbach-Hauptbahnhof, replacement buses operate on four lines, both to Frankfurt city centre and to the airport.
From the end of April, the railway will modernise the S-Bahn line between Frankfurt and Offenbach. This means nocturnal and week-long closures during school holidays. Passengers must avoid buses and regional trains.
