On Saturday at 3:01 p.m. EST the National Weather Service released a blizzard warning valid from Sunday 7 p.m. EST until Monday 7 p.m. EST for Keweenaw, Houghton and Baraga counties.The weather service says, “Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations between 14 and 21 inches, greatest amounts in areas of high terrain. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph, highest in the Keweenaw Peninsula north of Houghton.”
