Blizzard lines up WoW, Overwatch, Hearthstone and Diablo showcases
- On January 29, Blizzard Entertainment unveiled a multi-part 2026 showcase of developer-led livestreams for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone and Diablo airing on YouTube and Twitch.
- Johanna Faries framed the showcases as a reflection on more than three decades, saying they represent `only the start` of what Blizzard Entertainment plans to share this year during its 35-year legacy celebration.
- Among other things, the streams will reveal franchise roadmaps and expansion timelines for World of Warcraft , tease Overwatch 2's Talon takeover, and preview Diablo IV's Lord of Hatred expansion arriving April 28, while Hearthstone fans await plans soon.
- With no BlizzCon in 2024 or 2025, Blizzard says the showcases should help fill the gap until the event returns in September, giving players early looks at roadmaps and announcements.
- The WoW showcase will take place just over a month before March 2, when Midnight arrives, and fans hope Blizzard Entertainment will reveal the rumored Overwatch mobile spinoff and animated series during the showcases.
