Indamendia Network has purchased Hungary's most widely read daily newspaper Blikk from Ringier. The company took out a loan to buy the tabloid from MBH Bank, which is under the influence of businessman Lőrinec Mészáros, who is close to the ruling Fidesz party.
There has been a change of ownership and management at Blikk: the Indamedia group has purchased the newspaper, and its former editor-in-chief, Balázs Kolossváry, is returning.
