Blair Co., Commissioners Find Potential Site For New Prison

Blair County Commissioners reportedly have a potential site in mind for a new prison.  Earlier, the commissioners received heat from area residents after considering the possibility of using eminent domain to acquire land beside the Alto-Reste Cemetery in Altoona, so they started looking again.  Twenty-eight acres is needed for the new prison.  Reportedly, this new site is being evaluated, but its location has not been released at this time.
