FARGO — The high school running years in Nevis, Minnesota, for Jade Rypkema were blessed with being in the right place, at the right time. She was coached by Tom Stambaugh and Doug Hanson, two legendary North Dakota State runners. Stambaugh and Hanson are still Nos. 2 and 3 all-time on the Bison men’s 10,000 meters chart.
