The Ordinary of the Diocese of Koszalińsko-Kołobrzeg replaced the Metropolitan of Poznań Stanisław Gądecki, who is retiring after 23 years.
Pope Francis has appointed Bishop Zbigniew Zieliński as the new Metropolitan of Poznań. He will replace the archbishop. Stanisław Gądecki, who reached retirement age in October. “This is no small surprise to me,” admits Bishop Zieliński.
