Birch Forest Has Shown a Lot

Driving north on the main road in Aðaldalshraun, beautiful birch trees are visible in all directions and the forest appears dense. New plants are everywhere and the new growth is thriving. Grazing has become little or non-existent in large areas. As you get further north, i.e. to Aðaldalsflugvellir, the land opens up more and the forest becomes more sparse.
