Bihar's 336-km expressway to transform connectivity across 13 districts, cut travel time to 4-5 hours
Bihar has approved a 336-km, six-lane greenfield expressway connecting Buxar and Bhagalpur through 13 districts. The project could reduce the journey between the two cities from 10-12 hours to around 4-5 hours.
A 336-kilometer, six-lane Greenfield Expressway will be built from Buxar to Bhagalpur in Bihar. Once completed, the journey from Buxar to Bhagalpur, which currently takes approximately 10 to 12 hours, is expected to be reduced to just 4 to 5 hours.
A major step has been taken towards improving road connectivity in Bihar. A 336-kilometer-long, 6-lane Greenfield Expressway will be built between Buxar and Bhagalpur. This expressway will pass through several districts, including Arwal, Jehanabad, Nalanda, and Jamui.
