An Alexander City man riding a bicycle has been struck and killed in Tallapoosa County. Alabama State Troopers say 48-year-old Billy Jordan was riding the bicycle at around 12:05PM Wednesday, October 22, when he was hit from behind by a van. The van was driven by 51-year-old Rodney Freeman of Alexander City, investigators say. Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.
