Gandhi addressed a press conference in Srinagar after completing the last leg of the yatra from Pantha Chowk area on the outskirts of Srinagar to the historic Lal Chowk where he hoisted the tricolor along with her sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. He hoisted the flag at a place where his great grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru had addressed a gathering here decades ago, where he promised plebiscite to the people of the then state of J&K.
