SK Hynix's Solidigm Selects Goldman, Morgan Stanley to Lead $100B US Listing: Report (SKHY:NASDAQ)
Solidigm is preparing a pre-IPO funding round as it targets AI data center demand and seeks to raise about $10 billion.
- On Thursday, Rancho Cordova, California-based Solidigm selected Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to lead its 2027 American IPO, which could raise US$10 billion and value the company at up to US$100 billion.
- Established in 2021 after Hynix acquired the flash memory business from Intel, Solidigm has recast itself as a provider of high-capacity drives used in data centers.
- JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and UBS Group have also been tapped for the IPO, while Solidigm maintains 13 locations globally with more than 2,000 employees.
- In August, Solidigm struck a deal with CoreWeave to sell enterprise solid-state drive capacity, joining customers like Vast Data, Dell Technologies, and Tencent.
- While the pace of American IPOs has slowed recently, other companies including OpenAI and Kioxia Holdings are aiming for listings in 2027 alongside Solidigm.
