Vincenzo Italiano has been appointed coach of Turkish side Besiktas, the Istanbul-based club announced on Saturday. The 48-year-old Italian will coach the club until the end of the 2027-2028 season, Besiktas said in a statement. Besiktas, the Istanbul-based football club, will be coached by Vincenzo Italiano after three seasons in which they failed to finish in the top three of the Turkish Super League. The Italian is moving to Turkey from Italy's Serie A, the Turkish club announced, according to the French news agency Agence France-Presse. The contract will run until the end of the 2027/2028 season.
