Aventia Acquires Louisiana-Based ECM Consultants, Strengthening Gulf South Presence
ECM Consultants has delivered more than 1,700 projects, and the deal expands Aventia’s infrastructure and resilience services across the Gulf South.
On Monday, Aventia, a Bernhard Capital Partners portfolio company, announced the acquisition of Louisiana-based ECM Consultants, marking the firm's sixth deal since 2022.
Founded in 1995, ECM Consultants has delivered more than 1,700 projects across the Gulf South, maintaining offices in Metairie, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Shreveport.
Partner Chris Dillon of Bernhard Capital Partners said, "ECM's decades of infrastructure experience and established Gulf South relationships complement Aventia's existing capabilities exceptionally well."
Aventia Chief Executive Officer Dirk Applegate said ECM brings "30 years of trusted relationships," while ECM President Ujjal DasGupta noted the deal "creates new opportunities" to expand work scope.
Operating with over 400 team members across more than 40 states, Aventia manages more than $6 billion in assets and applies a disciplined investment strategy for long-term growth.
