Lyon football has just lost one of its legends. Le Progrès and sports journalist Jacques Vendroux, announced the death of Bernard Lacombe at 72, this Tuesday 17 June at 7.30 pm. Sick, he had been hospitalized since January in an establishment in the Lyon region.
International French in the 38 selections, he became a legend of Olympique Lyonnais (OL) playing there between 1969 and 1978 and then holding various positions at OL until that of historic advisor to President Jean-Michel Aulas until 2019.
