On Friday, environmental senator Ute Bonde had exceptionally permitted the use of Tausalz in Berlin. That was inadmissible, says the administrative court.
In view of the continued smoothness on Berlin sidewalks, the Berlin Senate had released the use of spreadable salt for private individuals. The Nabu sued successfully against the general decree.
The Nabu has successfully taken action against a special arrangement in Berlin. According to this, private people were allowed to use spread salt. The administrative court is now stopping this, the traffic senator does not see the guilt on her own.
The private use of strewn salt in Berlin was only permitted for a short time. The Nature Conservation Association had sued against a relaxation of the ban – with success.
