Exactly a month ago, Benin was foiling a coup attempt to overthrow President Patrice Talon. As he wanted, the country quickly resumed its course after the events of Sunday, 7 December. Patrice Talon described the mutins as "marginal" who had not obtained any support, either from the barracks or from the population. As the investigations continue with dozens of arrests, the leader of the mutins and his accomplices remain undetected.
