Benin: On the first day of the resumption of the Dangnivo trial, the two accused deny any involvement

After being put to sleep for seven years, the trial of the two alleged murderers of Urbain Dangnivo, a trade unionist and Beninese opponent who had been missing for 15 years, resumed, on Tuesday 11 March, in the Cotonou Court of First Instance. At the hearing, the two defendants denied in whole being involved in the case, claiming that they had been used by the political leaders of the time.
