In Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, villagers were suddenly attacked by bees during a funeral. Fifty to sixty people who had arrived at the field with the body ran for cover, leaving the body behind. Nearly two dozen villagers were injured in the attack and were hospitalized. Later, when the situation returned to normal, the body was cremated.
