Beckley VAMC receives new federal funding for security and surgical center improvements

Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Beckley Veterans Administration Medical Center says it has received over $3.5 million in federal funding for a security and surgical center overhaul.  The money is part of a nationwide $4.8 billion spending initiative to modernize Veterans Health Administration facilities.  Facility director George Drexel says the money will help the facility fulfill its goal of providing high-quality care for Beckley veterans.
