Beauty retailer will open 17 high street stores after closing 150 in 2025
The rescued retailer will add content creator studios in its new shops as it rebuilds after closing about 150 stores.
Beauty retailer Bodycare will return to UK high streets with 17 stores opening by year-end, following its rescue from administration last year by former Body Shop CEO Molton Brown.
When a company enters administration under the Insolvency Act 1986, it undergoes a legal process aimed at rescuing a viable business from insolvency, according to Companies House.
The Sheffield store at The Moor will open in July with a piercing studio and free content creator studio; 16 other locations will open "soon," Bodycare confirmed.
Managing director David Stern said the team "reimagined both the in-store experience and the brand's digital presence," while Newmark executive managing director David Purslow praised the "compelling retail strategy."
Bodycare announced in April that 25 stores would open by end of 2026, with the company now scaling nationally as it executes its disciplined expansion strategy.
