ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A bear has been found east of Wetumpka in Elmore County. Sheriff Bill Franklin says the bear was seen yesterday afternoon near the intersection of Alabama Highway 14 and Firetower Road. He says the mid-size bear had been hit by a vehicle.
