WITH large tides coinciding with hot, sunny weather and the school summer holidays, the RNLI is urging beachgoers to take extra care along the coast. The reminder follows a rescue by Porthcawl RNLI on Sunday (July 27), when two teenagers became stranded on a rocky outcrop near Newton Point as the tide quickly rose.
