Goldeneyes Re-Sign Forwards Jenn Gardiner, Izzy Daniel to Multiyear Deals
Gardiner turned down an expansion offer and signed through the 2028-29 season, keeping the rookie in Vancouver after a 2025-26 debut.
Jenn Gardiner signed a three-year contract extension to remain with the Vancouver Goldeneyes through the 2028-29 season, the team announced Wednesday.
Following a rejected offer from a Professional Women's Hockey League expansion team during phase two, the forward was required to sign with one of the league's 12 teams during phase three.
In addition to Gardiner, teammate Izzy Daniel signed a two-year contract with Vancouver through the 2027-28 season, having declined a foundational player offer.
During her 2024-25 rookie season, the Cloverdale native played for the Montreal Victoire before being traded to Vancouver on June 5, 2025.
Both Gardiner and Daniel are part of the team's phase 3 protections, joining players like Sarah Nurse, Sophie Jaques, and Emerance Maschmeyer who were secured earlier.
