BBVA Research has maintained its growth forecast for the Spanish economy at 2.4% in 2026, although it has dropped by three tenths, to 2.1%, its estimate for 2027 for the impact of energy. BBVA’s study service also predicts that housing prices will continue to rise, with increases of 12% in 2026 and 5.7% in 2027, and warns of a deterioration in household confidence.
