SUBMITTER. If Israel participates, Sweden would legitimize the genocide in Gaza and the illegal colonization of the West Bank. If Israel is allowed to compete in Eurovision next year, Swedish Television must boycott the competition, writes master's student Sebastian Bergman.
The European Union of Radio and Television (EBU) announced yesterday at the end of the Geneva meeting that Israel would be able to participate in the 2026 edition of the Eurovision from Vienna if it so wished.
