The German musician and comedian of the group Badesalz, Gerd Knebel, is dead. He died yesterday at the age of 72, as his friend and stage partner Henni Nachtsheim told the German press agency.
He was known for his humor and creativity: Gerd Knebel, the popular comedian of the duo "Badesalz" from Hesse. He has now died at the age of 72 after a battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.
In the eighties he sang a meltdown with a Hessian accent, in the nineties he reached a million audience as a comedy duo bath salt. Gerd Knebel has now died of cancer.
In the 80s Gerd Knebel became known as singer of the band Flatsch. Later he also acts as a book author. However, he celebrates his greatest successes as a member of the comedy duo Badesalz. Now Knebel died at the age of 72 years.
As a bath salt Gerd Knebel made the Hessian dialect a cult together with Henni Nachtsheim throughout Germany. Now the comedian and musician died at the age of 72 years.
