After being hit with three fines totaling $16,000 by the New York State Gaming Commission, Batavia Downs Gaming management has instituted an “ID everyone” policy to prevent minors from entering the Park Road establishment’s gaming floor.

About three weeks ago, a minor -- a person under 18 years of age -- was found on the gaming floor at Batavia Downs, a violation of state law.Officials at Batavia Downs self-reported the violation. The result was a $10,000 fine.
