DARE CO., N.C. (WAVY) - The Basnight Bridge was shut down Monday afternoon after a portion of a modular home blew off a trailer, according to NCDOT. The incident happened at 1:38 p.m. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said winds were gusting 65-70 mph at the time, which caused the mobile home to disconnect from the frame of the trailer.
