Five officials of the women's basketball club in Charleville-Mézières were charged on Thursday 8 October for suspicions of social security fraud and France Travail. The damage amounts to more than 500,000 euros.
After the arrest of five executives of the Carolo Flames on Tuesday by the Reims Judicial Police, the Charleville-Mézières Public Prosecutor's Office announced this Thursday that they had been charged and that judicial information had been opened for suspicions of fraud against the CPAM and France Travail.
In a statement of the prosecutor of the Republic of Charleville-Mézières consulted by "L'Équipe", five personalities of the Carolos Flames are, after being placed in police custody on Tuesday, the subject of an investigation on suspicion of fraud against social welfare organizations. The amounts mentioned exceed EUR 545,000.
