On Saturday, the police prevented an unauthorized pro-Palestine rally with around 300 people in Basel and encircled demonstrators.
In Basel, despite a lack of authorisation, around 100 people gathered for a pro-Palestine demonstration on Saturday. The police were on site with a larger range of people.
The cantonal police of Basel-Stadt prevented the demonstration announced under the title "Death to Zionism". 174 people were subjected to a person control and were assigned a place-reference.
The police prevented an unauthorized pro-Palestinian demonstration in Basel on Saturday, bringing together some 300 people, encircling demonstrators and carrying out numerous identity checks in the Theaterplatz area.
