Vanderbilt outfielder Jacob Humphrey signed a free agency deal with the Colorado Rockies on July 15, 2025.  Humphrey transferred to Vanderbilt after two successful seasons at UMass Lowell. He batted .337 as a freshman and .317 as a sophomore before taking his talents to the SEC.   In his junior season on West End, the righty hit .227 over 44 at-bats with two home runs.
