Strict ‘No Drone Zone’ in Effect During the 2026 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Albuquerque Police Department (APD), wants to remind everyone of the rules forbidding drone use during the 2026 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
Those who violate the restrictions may face seizure of the drone, large fines, and even up to a year of federal imprisonment.
