Researchers from Wageningen University (WUR) are provisionally allowed to continue using a decoy cage with live sheep to catch wolves on the Hoge Veluwe and equip them with a transmitter. An enforcement request from the Fauna Protection Foundation to put an urgent stop to this has been rejected by the Province of Gelderland.
