Researchers from Wageningen University (WUR) are provisionally allowed to continue using a decoy cage with live sheep to catch wolves on the Hoge Veluwe, in order to subsequently tag them with transmitters. The Province of Gelderland made this decision after the Fauna Protection filed an enforcement request to urgently stop the use of the cages.
