- Formula One has accepted a request to change the date of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix to Saturday, September 26, 2026, to avoid a national day of mourning.
- The Azerbaijan Grand Prix was originally scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, according to the 2026 F1 calendar.
- All other events before race day, including qualifying and practice, will also take place one day earlier than usual.
