Avon Lake – The City of Avon Lake is another step closer to a new sidewalk and pedestrian system along Lake Road after engineering consulting firm Mannik & Smith Group (MSG) gave their presentation to city council. The Lake Road sidewalk and crosswalk at the intersection of Lake Road and Route 83 have been deemed an area city leadership wants to prioritize to improve after a pair of incidents recently, one claiming the life of a city employee.
