Following the assault of a municipal police officer in Auxonne on Tuesday, February 17, and the threats made against the mayor, a police investigation has been opened to find the suspect(s). According to the Dijon public prosecutor, as of late Thursday, no arrests had yet been made.
One or two individuals were waiting for the victim in his garden and struck him in the face as he was returning home on Tuesday. An investigation was opened.
