With 41,500 files validated since 30 September, the target of 50,000 electric vehicles allocated to the social leasing scheme is expected to be reached in mid-November. However, files may continue to flow beyond the initial quota.
After a first edition in early 2024, the social leasing scheme was launched on 30 September and already has 41,500 beneficiaries, the Ministry of Transport said this Wednesday. A total of 50,000 electric cars are available for rent with option of purchase.
