- On December 14, a teenager, Chaya Dadon, abandoned a bench to shield children at Archer Park, Bondi Beach, and was shot in the leg.
- Father Sajid Akram and his son Naveed Akram positioned themselves on a pedestrian footbridge above Archer Park, draped an ISIS flag on their car, and opened fire at 6:40 p.m.
- Boris Gurman, 69, and Sofia Gurman, 61, rushed an attacker on Campbell Parade, wrestled his rifle, and were shot while trying to stop him; Yanky Super, a Hatzalah paramedic, was also struck and collapsed with a lung injury.
- Three Sydney police officers engaged the gunmen, wounding two officers including one with a head injury, while rabbinical student Leibel Lazaroff tended an injured police officer with a tourniquet.
