The city of Ionia Planning Commission on Wednesday reviewed a request from Allen Edwin Homes for Austin Pines West, a planned unit development (PUD) that will bring 96 new housing units downtown. The development will consist of 84 single-family detached homes and 12 attached townhomes in four 3-unit buildings. Construction will occur in two phases, with phase one starting this year and phase two completing in 2030.
