Aurum PropTech Acquires Housing.com at Enterprise Value of Rs 458 Crore

  • The acquisition aims to create a single AI and data architecture serving as the operating layer for property discovery, transactions, financing, rentals, and management across the real estate ecosystem.
  • Under the deal terms, Aurum will issue 1,97,93,309 equity shares representing about 20.5 per cent of its enlarged share capital, with REA India's total shareholding increasing to 24.9 per cent.
  • Aurum Ventures Founder and CEO Ashish Deora said, "We welcome REA as a significant shareholder in Aurum PropTech as we build the next chapter of Indian PropTech, powered by AI and data."
  • This acquisition expands a portfolio including PropTiger, NestAway, HelloWorld, Aurum Analytica, and Sell.do, as the company maintains a market capitalisation of nearly Rs 1,900 crore on the BSE.
