A 17-year-old Augusta boy riding a moped died Tuesday after a pickup hit him in the capital city. The teen was riding the moped on Civic Drive about 3:15 p.m. when he turned to enter the parking lot of the Rusty Lantern, a convenience store, according to the Kennebec Journal.
