Coast Guard Air Station Port Angeles Welcomes New Commander

PORT ANGELES — U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Port Angeles has a new commanding officer. Cmdr. Beau Belanger officially relieved Cmdr. Kelly Higgins during a July 9 change of command ceremony. Belanger comes to Port Angeles after attending the U.S. Army War College and previously serving as engineering officer at Air Station Borinquen in Puerto Rico. PORT ANGELES — Rebecca Senne will conduct auditions for the Port Angeles Community Players’ production of “Witch” by Jen Silverman at 6 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
