COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou baseball fell to No. 6 Auburn, 2-0, in game one of its opening Southeastern Conference series of the season Friday night at Taylor Stadium. LHP Javyn Pimental threw six scoreless innings before an eighth-inning, two-run homer marked the lone runs in the ballgame. Mizzou put the tying run in scoring position in the ninth but was unable to find the equalizer.
