Re “19 alleged victims of sex trafficking rescued in sting operation” (Dec. 23): I am shaking with fury as I write this. Why are the alleged purchasers charged with misdemeanors? They are the cause of the whole crime of trafficking and rape. This should be a felony with a minimum of 20 years in prison. Traffickers aren’t trafficking for the experience.
