Attacks on Palestinians intensifying in occupied West Bank: UN
Israeli settlers and security forces have intensified their killings, attacks and harassment of Palestinians in recent weeks in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the United Nations human rights office warns.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCR) issued an alarm signal on March on the strong increase in the number of Israeli colonial attacks against Palestinians in Cissadornia and East Jerusalem. According to the High Commissioner, 96 Palestinians were injured only in June - the highest balance in over two decades - and hundreds of houses were destroyed.
The genocidal Israeli army assaulted and injured 12 Palestinians during a raid on a factory in the West Bank city of Hebron.
