Russian forces launched a major airstrike on the Poltava region of Ukraine on Saturday night, damaging the energy infrastructure there and shelling the city of Kherson.

Russia launched a massive drone and missile attack on Poltava; Ukraine succeeded in demolishing the majority, but there were impacts on Kremenchuk.
Ukraine was the target of new Russian attacks overnight. Air defenses disabled 252 drones and five missiles. Local media in the Poltava region are reporting a fire at a refinery in the town of Kremenchuk.
