Athletes, sports enthusiasts await inauguration of newly-laid synthetic tracks at Sports Complex

The project to lay the tracks was taken up in 2022 at a cost of around ₹7 crore. After some initial hiccups, the works were completed and the facility was ready for inauguration at least six months ago. The delay in opening the tracks has prompted rescheduling and cancellation of several competitions planned to be held at the Sports Complex in recent times
